Hi, I am using a Karcher steamer cleaner now. It can be used to steam the floor, curtains, toilet wall.

I find my floor quite nice to step on lately. I bought it for $198 at mega discount store at united square.
        Hi, znzyzyzx!

I'm quite excited to hear about your karcher steamer cleaner. It's very affordable and sounds really good. If you don't mind, could you answer my questions about it? Thanks so much!

So you just need to fill the container with water and it's more or less ready for use? How do you ensure that the cloth at the end of the handle remains clean - is it machine-washable? After you steam-mop, is there a lot of water left on the floor? So the water just evaporates on its own? You don't need to wipe it with a dry cloth one more time?

I need a steam cleaner to clean the kitchen esp, like the cooker hoob, greasy kitchen cabinet. Can this steam cleaner be used? Can you show us a pic or provide us the model?

Hi, you need to wait a while to let the water heat up. This model is quite a small capacity one, so the water get used up pretty fast too. But i still buy this one because i was thinking it is lighter, so easier to move around.

You need to wash the cloth. Can be any type of cleaning cloth, though the package came with some cloth , but it spoilt pretty fast. So what i did was buy some of those microfiber cleaning cloth from daiso, and sewed them into the shape that can fit the machine.

what the salesperson taught me was to use two layer of cloth, so the floor would not be so wet, but i think for wood floor, it is still better to dry with a dry cloth.

can be used to clean the kitchen, but since i used mine to clean the toilet wall, i don feel comfortable to use in the food preparation area again. I am thinking of buying a smaller one to use just for the kitchen, but wonder how long can the steam last for each use.

I have been thinking of buying for a long time. Initially, wanted to buy it to steam the mattress, but the sales person said not advisable since it will make the mattress damp and ended with worse for the dust mite problem. So i put it on hold, hoping to get more feedback.

But am glad that finally bought it. Though not using for mattress, but use it on curtains, aircon (just blow hot steam in) , floor , wall, washing machine(just blow steam to sanitize the machine a bit 😄 ), leather seat in the car.
