        Applications for the Direct–School Admissions – Secondary (DSA-Sec) Exercise 2012 will commence at SST on 14 April 2012, in conjunction with its upcoming Parents’ Seminar.

        SST admits its students through the DSA-Sec Exercise. It does not participate in the MOE Secondary 1 Posting Exercise. Students who wish to be considered for a place in SST should apply through the DSA-Sec Exercise.

        DSA-Sec Application Period: 14 April, 9.00 a.m. to 29 June 2012, 5.00 p.m.

        Important Matters to Note

        **Student applicants and parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to read through the ensuing information prior to submitting an online application.

        Information needed for a Complete Application:

        Valid email address for account creation (will be used for DSA correspondence by SST);
        Student applicant’s personal particulars and contact information;
        Parent/Guardian’s personal particulars and contact information;
        Student applicant’s academic records of Primary 4 & 5 overall results and Primary 6 CA/SA1 (or equivalent);
        CCA/other achievement records;

        DSA Application Fee:
        There will be NO application fee payable to SST.
        General Ability Tests (GAT) & Charges:
        Applicants must sit for the following tests after the online submission of their DSA application to SST:
        General Reasoning Test (S$50.00);
        Verbal Reasoning Test (S$45.00).
        Charges for the GAT & Verbal Reasoning tests are payable to the Principals Academy Inc (PAI) as they are the administrators. These charges will be waived by them if candidates can produce documentary proof of their being on FAS (Financial Assistance Scheme), from their current primary schools.

        The last date to sit for the GAT for SST is 7 July 2012.
        Please register for the GAT (General Reasoning & Verbal Reasoning Tests) via the following link: http://www.gat.sg/
        Submission of Supporting Documents:

        Photocopies of the following supporting documents must be prepared for a 1-time submission when applicants report for the prescribed tests at the allocated test centre:

        Current school academic records (Pri 4 to 6, or equivalent);
        CCA/achievements/competitions/awards;
        Testimonials, etc.
        MOE DSA-Sec REGN number (for non-MOE school student applicants only).
        **SST will only evaluate applicants who have submitted complete applications, supporting documents and have successfully sat for the above-specified tests.

        Interim (Shortlisting) & Final Outcomes:

        All correspondence from SST will be via the primary email address used to register the online application.
        Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the Selection Activity in Phase 2 of the application process to SST.
        A Letter of Outcome will be issued to all applicants at the end of the Selection Phase of the DSA Exercise in end August.
        **Successful applicants subsequently posted to SST through the DSA Exercise are expected to honour their commitments made and will be excluded from participating in the Secondary 1 Posting Exercise.

        For more information on the DSA admissions process at SST, please refer to our FAQs.
        For specific enquiries on admissions to SST, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 6571 7214 (Admissions Office) or 6571 7200 (General Office).
