If I remember correctly, my child’s old school gave $200 for the student who is top in level; $150 for 2nd in level; $100 for 3rd in level and Popular vouchers ($15 for the students top in class; $10 for 2nd in class$5 for 3rd in class).

Really Really Rich school . My Son's school give 15 dollar voucher for first rank and goes to $10 voucher for 2nd rank and $5 voucher for third rank. All Top 10s get $15 voucher (popular vouchers). They also have certs for the documentaries and good projects but no trophy. Any way who wants trophy's . we cannot carry this to show to DSA department. Certs are really really useful.

Not to worry, the teachers will give past 1 or 2 years papers to practice prior to examination or test.

yap u are right...so no need so worried and they would not have so much free time to do so many other assignment as what they have from p1 to p3...most importantly is to let them adapt to the ge programme first and if your kid is transferring to a new school, he has to adapt to the new friends and environment... 😄

Don't think you going to get any past year GEP paper in the market, unless someone found out there is a demand for it. Anyway, I don't think you need any further papers, your kids will be quite occupy by their GEP curriculum, and hopefully the rest of the time, you allow them to have some relaxing time.

Congratulations to those parents whose child got in.

Is GEP the yardstick to measure intelligence? :?
I believed there are some happy but surprised parents wondering is it just plain luck?
The percentage is 1% but not every kid selected belongs to the top 1% in the entire P3 cohort.
Some are not even in the top 5 - 10% of his/her school cohort.
Where do GEP kids proceed after PSLE? 🙏
Plane . did you attend the briefing. if you are new . read MOE website for after PSLE in details (after PSL go SBGP/IP/Main stream). also there are lots of stuff in earlier dates. read thru all to get the details. still doubt put in Questions. everyone hear help each other

The only way you can get past year GEP papers will be from ex-GEP pupils. There is currently nothing on the market as far as I know.

However, you do not need to worry at all as the teachers will usually let the pupils try the relevant past year (2-3 years) papers before each common test or major exam, as a form of practice and also to familiarise them with the format of the paper. 😄
