Read from CNA that the wife of the former principal has forgiven him and even proposed to renew their wedding vows...not easy, must be a tough decision for her to forgive her husband's mistake, the shame he has brought to their family, and believe that he is truly remorseful and will not commit the same mistake again. Magnanimity on the part of the wife? Perhaps. Who knows if there was a lack of intimacy in the relationship? That was my impression from reading the press reports.

Is this a case where wife agrees to forgive him BUT punishing him privately ?
If this is EMA, it's the same...the man still cheated. But that is not so embarrassing for the wife bcos only the couple and perhaps family members will know.
