But hardly anyone with platinum did not go thru training right? Even in sec school they also train potential maths Olympiad medalists but it is ok as it is to help school win medals. But if it affecting school admission at P6 like DSA and the expensive training has to be paid by parents then it is kind of unfair for those who can't afford the training.
there is always someone richer than the next boy and could afford anything under the sun .... -

Right. my kids' school does not provide such training. hence never even think about them dsa via Maths domain cos i know they have no chance, even though they are pretty good in math. alternatively i could have forked out lots of money to let them go for pte training .... but then, they have no time either.Kiasucy:

Can afford training also does not mean sure get platinum

For those who are applying to RI DSA, the submitted copies of supporting documents need not be verified true copies. I have checked with RI admissions. FYI.

The coming CL camp at HCI on 19-20/5/2012 is the one they use to select candidates for DSA next year is it ?
DS2 got nominated by his school to go but decided against it.
Anyway HCI not his cup of tea… -

btw, for those who are interested to go for HCI open house, I've gotten reply from HCI for Parents' Symposium :
\"There are 2 similar parents' symposium, one at 0900-1030 and another at 1100-1230. The Principal will not be the key speaker for the sessions, but he will be chairing a Q and A session at the end of the speech with a panel of key appointment holders from our school.\" -
