My 4yr ds has been learning swimming for a month, and seems quite alright with e instructor. We are moving from pasir to Haig rd area, and I'm looking for another 3 kids to form a swim class. He charges 60 per month if there are at least 4 kids in class. Pls let me know if interested.

Hi all, we have gathered enough to form a class already, hence closing this thread. For the mummies who have contacted me, I’ll keep in contact with u via email or SMS once I can firm up the slot with the coach. Am gunning for sat 5pm. He’s trying to see if he can shift his schedule to accommodate that slot, n can only confirm in early Jun. Tku.

Good morning,

My daughters (turning 6 & 7 this year) are with the Torpedo swim team. I find them to be systematic and the coaches 'clicks' well with the children - Firm but nice. So, the children (even those who tend to be more playful) listens to the instructors. My girls enjoys their classes and looks forward for their swimming lessons.

They have classes on Sat and Sundays mornings and evenings. They might have other timings on other days as well - You have to chk.

Any idea what's the youngest age of kid they take in? Venue at & price?
I am thinking of getting a coach for my boy as he always like to dash towards the swimming pool, hope to equip him with the right skill

Hello, I am looking for a swimming coach to teach my 2 girls at my condo pool as well. The elder one who is 7 years old already know how to swim breaststroke but the 5 year old is still a non-swimmer. Where do you stay? I have checked a couple of swim schools and the rates for private teaching for 2 is about $240-$300 per month. Kind of expensive when I am currently paying $60 per month for my elder girl. Thanks for your prompt response. but actually I prefer a female instructor. No offence but my hubby is actually that one who lays down such instruction. Anyway, I stay in between Tiong Bahru and Redhill.

No worries ya..its understandable for parents to be cautious..I too prefer boys as my students but surprising I endup with so many girls student...lol

seems like girls love to swim more than boys or more girls are born

I’m fine with male cos I find male coach more strict & somehow they seems to be better than the female one, to me only la

Female headache also got menses cannot go into the water to teach or sometime cancel class
