Can locals go to international schools?

Got $ sure can. Hehee.. I loved one called Chatsworth. Very ex. But mostly, very fun for kids. The environment is different. Very open door policy.. freedom of speech n interaction.. hands-on learning opportunities.. in short, not so stressed. If hubby not expatriate, need to write in to MOE.

great minds think aike thats one of the school we have zeroed in haha anyway we are sure MOE will accept her transfer we haveall her past year results to back us up to state that she cannot handle being in a local school is too stressful for her.

because she is already missing alot of leessons and last min catch up for sa1 shes sure dd will not do well so rather then letting her at least try she rather dd miss the whole sa1 and work double hard for sa2 :yikes:

Actually teacher is kind of right in that sense le. Because she would have missed all the mock exam prep & probably not familar with format of exam paper. Usually right before exam, teacher would ramp the students up. If she return to school & suddenly expect to jump in to sit for exam without much prep ahead, may not be able to perform at optimal level

I'm in a similar predicament. On one hand, worried SA1 won't do well if jump in like that. On the other hand, SA2 is usually more difficult than SA1.

IF the teacher is willing to sit down with her and teach her one on her because she miss out so many lessons or even provide papers and worksheets for her to do at home i will not be so angry.

My DD teacher is 1 kind boh chup bo hiew one haiz even if she do not do well we will not scold her e just want to at least have her try for it.

I am thankful my DS teachers have been angels of kindness they coach him one on one give him prep talks they have been wonderful.


Sleepy is best at least they try for sa1 but u must tell ur child that as long as the effort is there u will not mind even if they bring back horrible results.
