By the way, seeking help from MCYs doesn’t mean your ex will go to jail or get unto trouble. Unless he has done bad things to his dd like touching her at inappropriate places or getting her to do indecent things on him.

There are many ways to have bonding beside bathing. like bring her to playground, park ,cycling , reading story book, watching cartoon/ tv together etc. Bathe and change your DD ready bsfore seeing her daddy.

My HB also bathed my DD since baby, but stopped when DD about 4-5 years old.
Try ! start with small steps.

My bro and my DH could never make themselves bathe their daughters… DH said he was afraid of scratching her accidentally with his rough hands… hahaha

The furthest my bro would go was to hold the shower head and tell his gal to wash the private parts herself.

he said im daughter father y cannot n that nothing wrong with it.

we have son too but he never want bath for him.

            er.
Isn't it quite obvious that there is a prob - both are his children right? But why he is so keen to shower the girl but not the boy?

You are the mother of this girl. I suggest you stop him from showing in front of your daughter and showering your daughter. I think it will be unhealthy for the little girl in the long run.

                Told DH about this.

First - he protested that i better clear his name. He stopped bathing for DD way before 5yo. Ha.
Second - he looked shocked & disgusted when I mentioned about the daddy bathing in front of DD & she laughed about the bird. He only said 3 words "should call police".

If after telling your ex about the rationale & he still insist, something is wrong isn’t it?! Then pls do take action immediately.

In Japan and western country, family still bath together even above teens.

                      It’s more of family bonding.

Whole Family - perhaps. But for the dad who just wants to bath the dd but not DS, imo big NO. :nunchuk:
