Hi
Pls help in the Q13, parts only!!!
For Q13
At first
Joe:Rachel --------- 4units:3 units
Change
Joe:Rachel --------- 15 :8
In the end
Joe:Rachel --------- 3 parts:2 parts
4 units + 15 -------- 3 parts
(x2)
8 units + 30 -------- 6 parts
3 units + 8 -------- 2 parts
(x3)
9 units + 24 -------- 6 parts
8 units + 30 -------- 9 units + 24
1 unit -------- 6
Joe@first --------- 24
Best wishes -

To make each paper plane, Gina needed 6 min while Jolene needed 8 min. Both of them started making the paper planes at 12.30pm. At what time would they complete making 70 paper planes?

Hi,
Someone please help and TIA.
2011-P6-Math-SA1-Rosyth Paper 2 question 7, My DS's answer is 500 Math problems but was told that his answer is wrong. :?
Question
Raju has solved 260 Math problems to prepare for his mid year examinations. He planned to finish the rest of the Math problems in the next 6 days by solving the same number of Math problems each day. If he completed 32% of the Math problems in the next 4 days, how many Math problems would he have solved altogether? -

500 is that total number to be solved. Questions that he would have in the next 4 days = 260 + 32% --> 420.
cheers. -

Hi,
HTH.
CLM or 6 and 8 is 24
For every 24 min, Gina made 4 paper planes while Jolene made paper planes, so every 24 min there will be 7 paper planes made by the two girls.
7 paper planes ----- 24 min
70 paper planes ----- 240 min or 4 hours
As they started at 12.30pm, 4 hours later will be 4.30pm -

Hi MathIzzzFun,
Thank you very much for clearing our doubt.[/quote]I think this question is poorly set. How many questions would he have solved altogether could be the total number of questions set, ie. 100% or it could mean the number of questions that had been completed up to the 4 days. The word \"altogether\" is pretty vague on what it means. I hope PSLE questions are a lot clearer.
