Do you think there Primary School education is unnecessarily difficult? Need to set difficult questions to make the better students stand out vs a reasonable standard that everyone can stand to gain?

Recently a blogger question MOE say they set too difficult questions and teachers coach kids to answer these difficult questions and ignore the fundamentals. Do you agree?

MOE say exams are not more difficult just as Minister say HDB flats never shrink. I look at some PSLE maths problemsums I also wonder how my kids or even me are going to answer. Very cham the children these days...

Some primary school math questions are more difficult than Secondary 1 / 2 questions.

It’s not easy for our kids understand abstract concepts which is seemingly frequent in primary school math syllabus

          Should ban unnecessary enrichment classes…

these resources just adds to the stress level of kids and make the standard more and more difficult as parents try to outdo one another and teacher set more difficult questions to differentiate the levels and end up a vicious cycle…
