I’m staying ard Depot Rd n according to "OneMap"(the official "SchoolQuery") my choice within 1km = GES Pri, BlangahRise, 2km=RMas, ZhangDe, Q’town …

Hrd tat BRise(fren’s nbour said is not so good) and also afraid tat RMas n ZhangDe might be too competitive(any figures in their balloting for 2km ?) n is Qtown good ? Pls advise as I’m very clueless, thanks in advance !!

Looking at the choices you have, you may want to consider Zhangde in P2C. You may need to go through balloting in Zhangde, though.

If your child fails to get a place in Zhangde in P2C, go for GESPS in P2CS. Actually, GESPS and Zhangde are on par with each other. So, if you prefer to save the trouble, you may like to consider applying with GESPS at P2C.

Titank, what is your rationale for recommending Cantonment? It's a new school and likewise, hasn't 为校争光, if that is what you are looking at.

Remember two years ago when RMPS didn't perform so well at PSLE, the top scorer for Blangah Rise was actually higher than RMPS'. I am not sure of the other statistics, though.

So really RMPS is very competitive huh ? My loc is <> 2km from there … So might consider GES since now saw MOE website got direct admission to sec sch … then how abt Q’town pri ?

Oh just giving an extra option to consider as she had ask on Queenstown, Blangah Rise etc.

Based on new then Cantonment is very new. Heard that in Queenstown (Near Crescent Girl School) there would be another new primary school coming up.

Hmm…For RMPS and ZDPS which you are within the 2km, usually chances very slim. They might close at 1km under phase 2C as RMPS is more popular in the neighbourhood and ZDPS due to more New HDB around that area.

suggestion might as well go for GESPS, CAtoment or Queentown. And it looks like in term of distance, GESPS will be more convienent and nearer to your location.
BRPS -personally not i’m not very keen.

If you try RMPS or ZDPS for balloting in Phrase 2C, must prepare that if can’t get a place there, by then you go for GESPS, Phrase 2C supp, you might have to face another balloting. For the past few years, under Phrase 2C supp, there are balloting too. Unless go for Canotoment or Queentown.

Iam plang CHIJ under phase 2C & within 1km. Considering the new changes in the p1 regn for PRs, how far will be my chances of getting into the school since my dd is also PR. My other choices : within 1km r RMPS & ZDPS, within 2km GESPS, cantonment. Can anyone suggest me if i miss CHIJ in p2C, what shld be my next choice in P2C supp?
