Yes she does. It is easier if you introduce the names of the different methods - assumption method, internal transfer method etc.

can share with us which Maths assessment book(s) you use to let your child practise internal transfer method, assumption method ? Thank you.

I use mainly the onsponge book as it covers most of the stuff they need to know for that level. So far I haven't come across any questions in the OS book on assumption method though. My dd gets her practice on those in the exam papers. hth.

or andrew er or any math assessment bk on problem sum. its quite common.

for purely iq math, there’s a bk called Thinking Maths…
anyway iq math not syllabus related, no time to do unless u wanna go do olympiad math for dsa purposes

Hi, does anyone have good recommendation for model drawing reference book (for parents to learn to teach)…I have seen these 3 books at popular and am undecided which one to get…

          1) Bar modeling by Yeap Ban Har
          2) The Singapore Model Method by MOE
          3) Model Diagram by Maths456 (thin, colourful and most attractive looking one…)

          Thanks.

                Pleasure 😄

Btw, if you are looking for a book to understand model drawings for P1, I would recommend the following book:-

Thanks for the recommendation…this is more like an assessment book right? I was thinking of buying more like a guide book for me to learn and practice myself first before coaching my kids….
