You may work with MD or units.

Start with Kumar ------ 7 units.

After Kumar gave 1/7 or 1 unit to Leela, Leela had $10 more than Kumar.

Kumar ------- 6 units
Leela -------- 6 units + 10

Before Leela receive 1 unit from Kumar, she had (5 units + 10)

Leela's share was $90 less than Kumar's.

5 units + 10 + 90 -------- 7 units

2 units -------- 100
1 unit ------- 50

Leela --------- (5*50 + 10) -------260

Kumar ------- 350

The sum of money -------- 260 + 350 -------- 610

That was my gal's SA1 maths question. The ans is 24. The workout given as 4 x 3 x 2 = 24. I don't get the \" x 2\" part ??
