My girl has got bits and pieces of her P3 exam result back. Seems that her class is not doing well for the Science Open-ended questions.


Just want to seek some advice as to whether the girls are adequately prepared for answering techniques for Science OE questionsby the school. From the few Science assignments that I see in her Science file, it seems that very little practice is being given to the girls. I hope I can guide her but frankly am at a loss when it comes to answering techniques for OE questions as I find that even guide books/assessment books answers might not be taken.

I find that there has been very little guidance too. For DD, they have been encouraged to explore and observe but I do not see their exploration and observation being translated into tangible materials. Maybe it is just DD, she is forever observing. :razz:

DD's science result's not out yet so no idea how she or the class did. But this being the 1st science test, I was thinking of just using it as a gauge to see what is required and where is DD's standard compared to school's standard.

[Hi mwchua, how much are you paying for the bus fare? It seems RGPS is much more expensive? I am paying $95 each.

Currently the school bus fee schedule for SK/PG is $170 (1-way), $210 (2-way).
