My son is in Powerlife. He doesn’t like it. They do assessment books after their school homework. Last year he complaint of being screamed at by the teachers. If the teacher made mistake, she shrug it off as ‘honest mistake’ but if it’s the kids, they get screamed at. There are many students, I think the teachers are not able to control them. The teachers communication skills have room for improvement - from India? China? My son laugh’s at the way the China teacher speaks. Hai…
He is still there and leaves at 4pm daily. As long as his homework is finished, I’m ok. I just don’t want him to be alone at home for a long time and just sloughing infront of the tv or computer.
I’m looking for alterative student care. I called one near his school which has tuition provided but I’m not impressed by the man’s communication skill. Um… perhaps it’s just me.
I do wish there is a retired teacher who is willing to do home student care for 2 -3 students. I believe the environment will be more conducive and nuturing. -

I got kids in P1 HOPE,P2 CARE,P3 FAITH and P4 CARE!! Yeah tell me abt it !! Very stressful but they are doing pretty well in school for now.

My son is in P3, heard english and chinese is difficult.

My child is in P3. Did badly for English Compo. Very sad
I feel that this writing skill is so difficult to teach.My child simply cannot create a good, logical story.And I also feel that the teachers do not really know HOW to teach Compo writing.They just give a list of \" Creative Sentences\" and think the kids will be able to write well.... Sigh!
Anyone can share with me HOW to teach Creative Writing EFFECTIVELY?
