True. but the common man's tale won't get splashed in the papers and their wives/families won't be hounded for stories (of course if the wives volunteer their stories to wan bao, that's different case). Seems to me that being 'powerful' and 'famous' works doubly against such the 'rich and powerful'.
Once commercial sex with girls under 18 is criminalized, the authorities will just have to carry out their duties. If we are to say that these men are talents and thus should be given second chance, we will then have to give chance to all who are to be arrested on the same offence. But I am just curious, has anyone raise the point that our authority should stop digging on people private lives and destroying their professional future. Think about it...we lose more and more talents that can contribute significantly in many more years to come just because they have sex with some slutty little girls that seduce them. the authority should probably apend more time digging and solving other more pressing matters.
They know the law. They chose to risk it. They face the consequences.

Frankly, the rich and powerful thinks they are above the law. I won’t worry too much about them. They will continue to be rich and powerful. An incident like this will not break them. But not all of them are rich. Many are professionals in their 20s ,30s and have studied hard and work hard to achieve that level…(which isn’t very high), teacher at that kind of level are making 6-10K per month? That principal is making 7-10K a month?
If one third of male professionals are visiting illegal prostitutes, are they going to catch and expose all of them and then leaving all critical positions in government, business entities empty and then malfunction? According to survey, more than 50% of teenage confessed that they have their first sex before 18yo, then wouldn’t it be strange if these grown up men isn’t sexually active? -

I was rather shocked (or maybe not...) by the amount they are paying too...actually I read one paid $450 and another paid $600. Singapore is really a materially rich but soul wise poor place. -
