Can I know what’s the registration process for PCF like? Is it like first come first serve? Do I need to que outside in advance? As I will be working on the registration day and I will get my mum to go on behalf, I don’t wish for her to stand there 1-2 hrs early just to wait.

If I am not wrong, there is no need to queue. This year, they have phases similar to P1 registration.

Just go between the times and dates given. After the end of the timing, they will look at all forms and decide the priority.

I think Singaporeans get priority, then PRs and then foreigners.

Within each group, those that live within the same constituency as the kindy gets priority.

For my case, it states in bold \"first-come-first-served basis\" 😢

On the 1st day of registration, ie 21 May 2012 - the registration time is 9am and I am wondering :? :scratchhead: how \"early\" should I go and queue up outside the school office? 😓 :nailbite: :scared: :yikes:  :siam:

                    Oh, sorry for the confusion.

Since Champion's letter states 1st come 1st served, then that means it is different for different centers.

I was looking at Block 662B, 665A, Block 642, 654B, and 661B PCF registration exercise.

This is for the Pioneer PCF branches.

Theirs is on 23rd and 24th of May, from 8.30am - 12 noon then 1pm-3pm.

It is not on first-come, first served basis. I double checked with them verbally.

They said allocation of places will be based on balloting if demand exceeds supply.

Champs, the registration fee is the same for Boon Lay and Pioneer, but the Pioneer's deposit is $171.20. 😓

This ballot system only apply to existing student. I guess new registration would be first come first serve. Pioneer branch requires yearly registration, in the past was first come first serve and parents queue for hours before registration starts for the choice of getting in for morning session. Another thing is this branch will not cover HanYuPinYin anymore.

Hmm, I actually talked to the lady there to confirm. It's starting this year - the no queue system.

Cos in recent years it was getting too crazy for them. People start queueing from before 5am, they say. I do not know if that is true.

But she specifically told me no need to come early, just submit and then they will look through based on the phases of priority.

now i am confused and will probably need to call them up to triple check. 😓
