Learning Kidz @ Hougang

I’m looking around Kovan MRT for CC as well.

Visited learning kidz about half a year back on a Sat afernoon. So I hav no commend on the class or student. but the place look a little run down and small. the good things about the small compound is that the student population is smaller so less germs, i presume. But its fully aircondition which is something i’m not too comfortable with.

I tried to visit during sch hrs but they stop me as i didnt make appointment. and since the view its blocked from outside, i cant peek in to see as well.

Anyone parents who’s kids is attending learning kidz at hougang now?

Hi searchingyou, just read ur post. Do let me know abt ur trial. I believe that things might varies from branch to branch. Hope that the hougang one will be better.

hi ,
my son is still in that school,
i am quite ok with the school overall, teacher are good but i realise teacher dont really work there very long usually is about 1 yr , i do understand this is a stepping stone from them.
but the response of the feedback to the teacher is alway very slow that is what i dont like .

but overall they are helpful...

unless you need school bus to send your kid home that one i really face problem with it or else everything is ok....

place are clean .....becos they have a very big place...for kid to run around....

i like there outdoor event especially they alway have event like outing outside ( zoo, jurong bird park...... air force event also..
if you dont have a lot of time to bring them .

My friends niece is in Amk. 3 yr old I
Think. They nvr check details on who is supposed to fetch Her based on registration details. So my friend has been fetching her niece but they nvr verify. N they shout at the kids to eat, that is wat she told me. There’s many times the niece comes out with mucous flowing out of the nose they nvr wipe

BUT i ask them recently for a trial and they said no trial class in Hougang???

I recently got to sit-in with the outlet at AMK Jubilee. Was shocked that they charge so high but standard is really bad.


Teachers mostly snaps and shouts at kids. I was told, that if you don’t shout, kids wont listen. One of the teacher did not notice i was there. Even threw a chair on the floor to show how ‘fierce’ she was.

Although they have a big toilet, 30 kids are squeezed to be bathed together. The children would wait in their towels, while some do not even have chairs to seat on.

They have 3 aunties but classrooms are not kept clean. Kids eat and sleep in the same classroom. Often teachers would scold the kids for making a mess, because they have to clean up. And later got to use the same floor to sleep on.

I pity the kids there as they are not able to verbalize their views on the school.

Some good schools i have been to, kids are lively and expressive.

In this school, kids are afraid even to express themselves.

Anyone has other experiences from Learning Kidz?
