Traffic Around the Area is Terrible yesterday .... Jam All the Way.
U Can Still Visit the Sch Web site to Find out info U Need. πŸ˜‚
No wonder yesterday afternoon I drove past RGS saw so many cars parked at the side road. Also saw the sign board in front of SCGS big-big \"From a face in the crowd to the face the crowd faces.\" Er Happy Mama, what does that mean huh?

The top classes are very strong already, but not the rest. Weaker classes would need such extra attention right ???

Too much of supple. lessons does not do any child good.

Most likely the supple. lessons are giving out other sch exam papers, not real learning.

Dun b surprised the teachers asking the pupils to mark each other mock papers. Some teachers do not even hv time to mark the papers, esp Sci.

        hi Jennifer,
I had pre-arranged tuition classes for whole of June...so he isn't attending all the suppl lessons. Honestly, I am not jealous by extra lessons given to top classes...just thought that weaker classes might benefit.

The way you asked Happy Mama makes me wonder if her dd has been transferred out of PH and now in SCGS :?

Some kids of other classes will benefit...school should not just focus on top classes...it should be fair throughout. Yes, those may be cream of the crop but school should recognize the capabilities of ALL. What it is doing is not fair and will hurt the esteem of weaker ones.

Dishing out lesser no. of supple.lessons does not equate to the sch does not recognise the needs of the weaker pupils. Structure of the supple. lessons should matter more.

Unless we know how the supple.lessons for top classes differ from the non-top classes, I feel that we should not put a blanket statement of the sch not providing enough and thereby hurting the esteem of the non-top classes.

Just like we as parents should not insist our younger child to undergo the same no. of enrichment lessons our elder child has attended. Interests, aptitude and ability should be taken into account.

Anyone going overseas this coming Jun holidays? Always wanted to go to a beach resort and spend idllytic days doing absolutely nothing! Too bad I’m heavily bogged down by work these few months.

For us, the best holiday was when we went Taiwan. DS came back speaking Mandarin … he finally saw the usefulness of it there. Would really like to go to Beijing next.
