Wow, finally read through all the pages. Thanks for all parents here who gave valuable info about both of school. One year has since passed, your contributions on the thread will certainly help many parents in 2012. :lovesite:

Anyone went for RGS open house today? Was there any information whether RGS will be moving? will it be to a holding site?

when they move, it won't to a holding site. probably they will build the new premises (rumored to be near to RI) first and once ready, just move in
anderson road rgs site will become luxury condo -
Thanks so much vks2010! This was one question I asked the parents support group which they refuse to give me a straight answer… I don’t mind moving school but I m against holding sites as they r typically suboptimal for proper functioning of the school. Very comforted to know this. Thanks again!

We went for the NYGH open house. While we like the school environment and the principal, there are a couple of things which left us wondering.
1. There is currently only 1 class of geppers. Why are there so few gep girls who chose NYGH?
2. In the presentation, it was mentioned that at least 1 in 2 scored at least 3 H2 distinctions at A levels. My hubby thought this figure’s low coz we had the impression that the figure should be 60% or more. -

60% is about 1 in 2, so at least 1 in 2 is correctWe went for the NYGH open house. While we like the school environment and the principal, there are a couple of things which left us wondering.
