Singapore for Singaporeans?

Oppsgal:
I also experience the same reaction - some of my neighbours , especially those who just shifted in , thought I hail from China. I always tell them jokingly \"Aiyo, 我从头到脚都是 made in Singapore lah ! \"
:rotflmao: Somebody thought I am from other countries when I speak.LOLMum:
Huh, I seem to be surrounded by Malaysians.
My dd and ds's friends, teachers from Malaysia. My neighbors also Malaysians. My bukit timah hill walks buddies also Malaysian. My beautican's partner also Malaysian.....my friends also Malaysians.
Can't tell the difference until I heard them talking about going home for cny.

They attract talents (althou the selection process leaves much to be desired..).
And the next question is, why aren't the govt attracting more Malaysians here with study scholarships since they can mingle with us better? Would it not solve the govt's problem the same and still make everyone happy?
If Malaysia don't have the talents, attract them also no use.. I certainty don't want \"talents\" like Ms Saw. -
