      ksi:
Kwanpen makes expensive handbags which look like Hermes' berkins using croc skins?

I do not know it is a local company, interesting.
      Yup it is.

Think not many Singaporeans know and not many Singaporeans go for their bags. But it is quite sought after by the Hkg and Bruneian rich.

Another personality that I am not sure if we can claim credit under Singapore, Liu Kang. He was born in China, lived in Malaysia, trained in Paris and Shanghai. Only later he contributed to Singapore’s art scene and donated over 1000 pieces of art to Singapore Art Museum…, this one like imported talent…

          What do you say?

Kwanpen and tiger balm founder,Mr Au, are similar in history. Both of them are born and bred in China. Then with their rich skillset, they migrated to Singapore to grow their next generation's roots and established their brands.

John Clang - Photographer based in NY

              Song / Lyric writers : 小寒,梁文福

Prof Chua Nam-Hai : Scientist at Rockefeller University, very well known in field of plant molecular biology.

But not sure whether Melvyn Tan (concert pianist) still pa-kei? 😃

So should David Gan (on page 1) be included?

David Gan was not trained in SG at all? He simply invested a salon in Singapore? If that is the case, I probably have to take him off.... as this is like Liu Kang's case.. imported talent. We put that kind of talent aside for now otherwise the list becomes mega list... 😂

Between Russel Wong and John Clang, who makes more impact or on par?

I have added Liang Wen Fu earlier as song writer... XiaoHan as lyricist yes!

Melvyn is an unfortunate case, we kinda disown him... 😞

                      Certainly, Prof Chua! 🙂

Corrine May more achieved than Tanya Chua? I hesitated on Tanya Chua because singers/song writers quite a few...just wanted to pick the cherry ones..
