Hottest months are Jan/Feb. Mid nov is still ok - like Singapore weather but minus the humidity. Stay under shade, veri nice.
Only thing is, gotta deal with the flies whole summer long. -
thanks, have you been to Caversham Wildlife Park?

Yes, been there a few years ago. Caversham is inside Whiteman Park, Swan Valley area. All sorts of Australian native animals, mostly up close. Suggest you go first thing in the morning to avoid the afternoon sun. Go to their website for more details.
If time permit, can combine the trip with a quick visit to a winery or Yahava Koffeeworks (adults' interest), or Nougat World and Chocolate Factory (kids' interest). All these in and around Swan Valley area. -
hi bebebub
Is Caversham and Swan Valley reachable via cab from City, Adelaide Terrace ? -
concern_mum:
Eh, reachable, but cabs in Az is generally expensive. Also, you have to dial for one. Outside city, you won't be able to hail one off the road. Sorry, I've never taken a cab anywhere in Az. We usually pick up a rented car straight from the airport.hi bebebub

If not self-drive, the other option (expensive) is to sign up with a local tour operator.
You can check out http://www.valentinoholidays.com.au just to get an idea what the local operators offer. I have not use them before so cannot comment.
