BOOK Fairs

[hquek]

Went to suntec Bookfair today. Unfortunately couldn’t bring myself to pay for the china books. Will be going shopping in dangdang soon.

Oh. SAP selling their assessment books at 3 for $10 or 4 for $10. I got loads of English assessment from teachers@work at that price. Popular Bookfair selling the same at $3.90 to $5.50. These are 2012 publications.

Any idea at what age will the children be able to read GS series?

A colleagues's child who is 7 this year is reading them. But I feel that if the child has good reading skills and understanding, they can start earlier. My child can't read GS yet (his reading skills still not there yet) but he has the level of understanding required. So he \"listens\" to GS (I read, he listens to the story).

Hi Precious2.lee

It really depends on the reading ability of the kid. Generally P1 kids will be able to read them although i have seen kids at K1 reading them.

Just realised that the 20% coupon typically found in the newsletter is now gone.....

Anyone has gone for the Expo Popular sale? Today is the last day, wondering if it will be worthwhile to go?

If you have gone to the Expo Sale, can kindly help to advise?

Many thanks. :thankyou:
