I am working in a govt. statutory board. My coy director had been very empathetic and agreed to let me work part-time so that I can spend more time focusing on my child. But it comes with a paycut of 50% and pro-rated benefits and bonus. πŸ˜“ It's still worth it though. πŸ˜„

My part-time will end in December, as it's a 1 year arrangement. I'll have to either appeal to my director and extend for another year, or convert back to full time. πŸ™

But, based on the current situation in the office, continuing part-time arrangement might not be an option. Will have to play by ear when nearer to date. :xedfingers:

yup! gotten used to part-time work, and enjoyed the flexibility it brings. πŸ˜„

we balloted for BPPS although we are within 1km, think it was 102/50. my girl's name was called near to the end, when there's only 3 places left. πŸ˜“

for schoolwork, it actually depends on the teacher. my girl always have work brought home to complete, while her peers in other classes don't.
