Any of you used nail those MCQs or FAQ by Janet Sim? Please share your views. I have those two books untouched also. Thanks in advance.

Hi! Just sharing my personal experience πŸ˜„
I only have the FAQ by Janet Sim. Last year when I first got the book, I paste out all the answers with white papers as the answers and explanations are given directly below the questions. Make copy and pass to DD1 to practise.

:yikes: After doing one topic - \"Diversity\", I was like :frustrated: :stompfeet: 😒 - why am I doing this ? So, had a small talk with DD1,\" How you think we can make full use of this book?\" She replied,\" We do it together; you cover the answer and I read the question then we both choose the answer (MCQ part)!\" Well, indeed this is a \"practical & easiest\" way for my DD1 and she is more inclined to use this book as a revision nearing the exam.

The book is still \"clean and fresh\" for most topics so I guess I will be able to \"recycle\" for DD2 in 2 years' time!

My DD is scared when she sees that thick book. Always dont want to touch that. I really salute you. Being a FTWM, you spend a lot of time with your DD. Your time management should be good. :udawoman:

I still have many books untouched or only few topics done. So I decided to give a miss to popular fair this time. Feel better now.

Yes, that's the book. Any comments? Thanks.

I have this PSLE revision guide and ultimate science (lower block). Ultimate science has more details, but I am having only the lower block version. I am not sure about ultimate PSLE version.

No, no I am not good with the time management part - I only try squeezing my time as much as I can for DD1 as of now πŸ˜‰

My DD2 is P1 so still can take some breathe for this year as Science will only come in 2 years later πŸ˜“

We have the \"Nail Those MCQs\" and love it! Used it to train DD2 to work on MCQs effectively. ie. look out for key words, analytical skills.. time management.. (etc) Chapters are kept short for revision. Keeps DD motivated wanting to do more. We do it together and run thru the explanations together. The flap that covers the answers is ingenious. Better than all answers at the back, easier for checking. Answers come with FULL explanation in easy to understand, straightforward reasoning going back to concepts learnt. A good buy, for us. πŸ˜‰

I realised that so many books I bought earlier need opening ceremony.

Thank you plum cake and buds for your feedback on nail those MCQs.
