Hi goat,
I can sympathise with you, because my kid also went through what you are experiencing.
My advice to you is, go ahead and complain to the principal.
if you don’t do it now, the situation will get worst for your kid.
They will not understand how we felt if they did not go through what we went through. Can you imagine your kid to be punished for no reason, can you imagine what your kid went under the hands of "lousy" teachers.
If the principal refuse to take any action, then you should bring this up with MOE. I don’t believe MOE would dare to choose to do nothing about this.
Always by your side. -
Hi, angel2255
Thank you for your support & sharing ur experiencing with me. In fact, I oredi wrote an email to e principle last wk abt tis incident & e VP had called me e next wkg day.
VP had investigated & reverted me & it was true tat such incident happened in schl. He apologized but I reiterated to him it shld’nt treat our young ones like tat & left a negative impact on them.
I can understand teachers r under lots of stress & kids r not easy to handle ESP. A class of 30 pupils but they shld mind their tone to talk to them if they don’t do well or misbehave!
Teachers can fierce & strict to pupils but they shld hv a profession way to deal with our young ones. Regardless how old is e kids, teachers can’t yell with such a harsh remakes! Think u will agree with me.
I had comforted my boy & he seems quite fine now & move on. -

The town hall was meant to keep parents informed on what to expect when the school moves to the holding site in AMK St 23. For info, its the same location that Guangyang Primary moved to in 2010-2011 when they had to temporary shift while the school was undergoing upgrading at Bishan St 12.hi all,
did not manage to attend the town hall meeting.
would like to inquire what happened?
thanks
The principal gave some info on the holding site and wanted to hear parents' feedback, esp with regard to transport arrangements for students staying in bishan. 2 options were presented, either a shuttle bus service that charges on a per trip basis, or the normal school bus service that charges on a monthly basis. The school is working with the bus operator, and has yet to finalise any details on which option/or options it would be. Parents will be given forms to complete in the next term to indicate their preference. The school will also be taking parents' feedback at this session and explore other options, if possible.
Facts about the holding site:
1. School will still operate on 2 sessions, AM P3-6, PM P1-2.
2. At present, the road at St 23 is a single lane, 2 way traffic.
3. Based on current design of the main gate, it is very difficult for big buses to turn into the school.
4. The carpark area is small, smaller as compared to kcpps now.
5. AMK Pri School, which is next door, will be going single session next year.
Fellow parents raised a number of concerns, ranging from suitability of the holding site, safety of children and cost of the transport fees. Some parents were rather vocal about it. Mr Chua told parents that he would continue to work with the relevant authorities to highlight parents concerns to them for further discussion.
p.s. Just like to highlight that the above was based on what transpired at the townhall. Things can still be subject to changes and we would certainly hope there will be further updates on this. Mr Chua did say, if necc, there will be another townhall, but for now, not sure.
