Treat ah kong, ah mah, saltwater cafe is a good option,
free for 1 senior for 1 paying adult, shd be still on.....
Find everything quite good at Azur leh. The dessert spread is not bad. There's drunken prawns, indian, western/continental, seafood, Asian, Jap.... Their soups and cheese spread also not bad.

Aiyoh... talking about this makes me   want to go back there again šŸ˜“ šŸ˜‚

My other favorite buffet place is Ellenborough Market Cafe @ Swissotel Merchant Court. Usually go there for hi-tea. Love... love... love... the durian pengat!! Best :imcool: :imcool:

Last year, organized a surprise birthday party to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. It was all hush-hush and we invited all the relatives. He was so teary-eyed and happy. Then we made his grandkids give a speech each. Was quite touching and emotional for him

Now, all my relatives expect one every year :faint: :siam:
I am not a great fan of liulian but yes , the durian @ Ellenborough is reali good ! yum ! šŸ˜„

Anyone tried the buffet spread @ Melt Cafe (Mandarin Oriental) ? The seafood spread is rather good and they offer BBQ food (weekend only - Fridays & Saturdays only). The dessert spread also quite good … My DD loves the chocolate fondue

Traders hotel cafebiz manager confirmed that they have not been serving oysters for their dinner buffet for some weeks already. And yet their staff confirmed that they serve oyster for buffet when I called them up to inquire n made reservations last Friday! Imagine how disappointed we were as we would have opt for another restaurant that serves oyster after making plans for this evening's dinner(babysitting plans etc). We learned from the manager that we should have taken down the staff's name when we make inquiries. Heck!

Can anyone recommend somewhere else that serves oyster? Think next time i'll give swissotel merchant court my biz instead of cafebiz as the formal serves tasty durian pengnet rather than frozen ones from cafebiz. Angry I didn't get to eat oysters!

Those long legs crab they served were a saver to the otherwise disappointing meal as both the scallops n mussels served were tasteless.

The Melt is the best i've tried so far. I've tried, Rendevous, Ellenborough, Fullerton, Marina Mandarin, Greenhouse, Shang (The Line), traders, etc..... . I still prefer The Melt any time.

The other place i think it is not too bad is The Oscar (Conrad). Good value!!

I heard the hi-tea at St. Regis is good but i havent had a chance to try it yet
