wow!
:thankyou: kiasuadult
i wanna show my kids tomorrow (they are asleep already) cos I can spot some of his fav trs.
it's a bit blur for me. is it for you?
but i can see the essence of it and i must say i agree wholeheartedly that learning is very enjoyable at CPS. my son is proof of that. he enjoys every single day and even asks me to pick him up later so he has more time to spend in school! -

:thankyou: champs!
for the UCAS, do the selected pupils have to pay?
and your dd must be one of them?
how many are selected per class?
the chi cultural camp looks interesting too.
looking at CA2 dates seem surreal hor, since Term 3 just started and my boys are like still trying to shake off their holiday high spirits!
no momentum at all for work this week.

Hello kabalevsky. I think you meant ICAS instead of UCAS right? If that is the case, it's free, at least it was during my time which is not too long ago.:thankyou: champs!

around 10-20 people in the top class will be selected. I forgotten whether pupils from the other classes will be selected but I don't think so.
JYJY for your boys too!

oh champs, sorry. yesβ¦
ICAS. paiseh. UCAS is the UK uni admissions exercise. had to do this last time for my students every 2 yrs when they start applying to unis at the end of the yr.
too many acronyms, confused liao.
I donβt remember sitting for ICAS during my time. Was it already popular then? I only remember first seeing it when I was tutoring a P4 girl in math while waiting for my A level results. That was also a long time ago lah, kekeke.
I remember coaching the P4 girl for her test and then after she received her results, I remember being impressed by how detailed the results analysis was (the spread, the individual percentile etc) and also recalled thinking how local exams can be done like thatβ¦ Thatβs why I had a deep impression of the ICAS. provides good evaluation. -
There will be a Learning Fiesta on the 13th of July from 8am to 12 noon
It is open for all pupils from P1-3 and their parents who can join in the games and learning activities together with them. There will be vendors selling educational materials and books as well.
It is also some kind of an Open house as it is open to parents whose kids will be in P1 in 2013.
I am looking forward to it!
How many of you are going as well?
