Fightingmom reporting finally ...

Ooohhh...nice ! So glad it is pouring here ! It will be a cool night to snuggle in bed
Sweet dreams, everyone ! :snooze:  -
Home finally !
Today we spent a long day running from east to west. Dh bought for dd a t-shirt but alas, it was just too small! :slapshead: So we travelled back to the shop @ Changi City Point for an exchange for bigger size. We did a quick shopping for birthday present for my friend's daughter and zoomed... We rushed to the party @ 2pm , travelling from east to the west ! :faint:
After the party, since we were near to JCube (first time there), we decided to shop and have a light dinner there as well. There was quite a crowd in the ice-skating ring. Bought a pair of jogging shoes for dd and some more clothes and 2 pairs of jeans since she has really grown taller and well , fatter too!
DH suggested a movie so DD decided on Snow White and the Huntman. The best thing in the movie by far is Charlize Theron's performance as the scheming, snarling Queen Ravenna, who is under an empowering spell that allows her to murder at will, heal her own wounds, and remain eternally youthful in face and body. I find that Kristen Stewart who is starring as the Snow White paled in terms of her acting here. DD however likes the movie very much, well, for a 12year old.. When Good finally triumph over Evil ... It is a good enough happy ending for her. Oh oh, forgot to mention... The new cinema has good seating space - my DH is rather tall so if he says it is comfortable, then it means good leg spacing !
Before we left JCube, we also managed to catch a 20 minutes ice hockey competition between 2 teams @ the skating ring. This really brings back the good old memory where I used to play for my school hockey team during my JC days!
All in all, it is a great day spent. Though tired, DH and I are glad that DD is relaxed and happy today. She needs to re-charge and get ready for another 2 weeks of intensive revision before school reopens !
For me, when I see DD's radiant smile, i get fully charged myself and I know I can move full steam with her again ! :rahrah: -

Pris.tang:
I think could be the water condition not stable? My brother used to rear fishes as a hobby and he would always check the PH of the water in the tank. If it is too high, he would always change about 1/3 of the water and sometimes he would remove the coral chips, then check the ammonia reading. Sometimes if the dragon fish refuses to eat, it is a sign that he is sick... Kekekeke....I pick all this info up from my bro but he has given up fish rearing many years ago cos he is too busy nowadays .
