Please lah! If I look like her then I wouldn't be in this forum. I would be busy closing 10% comm sales!!peapot:
Actually I m also in Sales. so far in my career, I haven't receive any indecent proposal leh. So I don't think it's common in the industry.
Do you look like your profile pic? If yes... WAAOOO!!! :nosebleed:
The picture is how I wished I look like in my dreams!! I m very far from it!!!! That's why I need a picture like that to console myself. -

Not true lah. The contracts they are negotiating can be worth millions, especiallly when we are talking about corporate/govt deals. In IT sales the salesperson will not get a cut of the sales revenue. What they have is OTE, on target earnings. There will be a basic which they will get whether or not they meet target. And there is the at risk or commission portion. That part whether they get partial, full or more depends on them meeting and exceeding sales target. There are accelerators or multipliers in place to incentivise salespeople to not just meet target but exceed. Depending on how aggressive the company is in sales remuneration, the split and be as high as 50% basic, 50% commission.
in the millions otherwise why go all way out
someone from the industry quoted the sales staff can get about 10% sales commission for big tender projects. Not sure true or not.... -
:?: Actually with a director husband, I don't think money is a motivating factor for her.
Why would she need to go all the way?? -

I also share the same thoughts as you. Maybe she really did like him and there was no more love in her marriage. Anyway just a guess. We are not them so we don't know the truth. -

Does it mean that it's alright to engage in such? If we can't control our emotions and restrain from the wrong.....I wonder what will the world become.
2 families are destroyed in the process and not to forget the pain on loved ones (family, extended family etc)

Recognition from boss that she can clinch the big deal?:?: Actually with a director husband, I don't think money is a motivating factor for her.
Why would she need to go all the way??
I have a gf who married a very successful spouse but she prefers to earn her own keep and in her own words \"be able to stand on her 2 feet\" . Her hubby respects her for that. -
