My DD is in P2 and recently had an English Practice Test. She said it is very difficult and came back with poor results. She did say that she was very nervous because it was a spring test and the teacher wants all who scores below 40 to have daily revision with her during reccess. I am just wondering if other P2 classes also had this same test and is the test that difficult? I have yet to see the paper but I went through another earlier practice paper and the standard is really quite high for P2, many tough questions and difficult words.

      sunflowersmurf,

My son got back a english practice paper yesterday. total score is 50. is this the one you are referring to? u aware if the marks is counted for end of the year?

As far as I know, marks are not counted. English marks are broken down as follows: 5%-Oral, 5%- listening comprehension, 10% show n tell, 10% writing ( term 3) 70%- final year exam.

My daughter's teacher let the class bring home to do as homework.

                      Hi Happymon,

2/7 is a school holiday. My girl did not take out any circular yesterday so i don't know whether they will receive it today.

However confirmed 2/7 is a school holiday.

Have a nice long weekend. πŸ˜‚
