If you ask me.. I will stick to Shichida and Heguru.

I have send my eldest son and daughter to Shichida, Tweedle Wink and Heguru.

My son joined Tweedle Wink back in 2009 (January Intake).

Their 1st outlet was in Women Institute of Management Building (WIM) 7, Jalan Abang Haji Openg, Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We were the 1st group of parents that send our children there.
The teachers (3) were all from Shichida Method (Wisma Lim Foo Yong).

At that time I send my child there because it is near my house. and I knew some of the ex shichida teachers that joined.

I have also met Pamela many times. It was a very new set up, so a lot of topics were Shichida Method based only few of the items were hers.

Now with regards to Pamela Hickens, she is a translator for Professor Dr Makoto Shichida and a qualified Montessori teacher.

She did not co work with Shichida to come out with... linking memory.

Anyway the Tweedle Wink classes in WIM Taman Tun was closed after a year, because of some misunderstanding with her local partner.

She later open her next outlet in Bandar Putri Puchong with another partner.

Then I later send my kid to Heguru, which is in Mid Valley.

You can always clarify with Mrs Khoo, the principal of Shichida Method with regards to Tweedle Wink.

Tweedle Wink may work for some and some parents may like it.

But it is not the original right brain education school.

I also did some research, and you are right.
I have also found out that Pamela Heiken was actually a translator for Makoto Shichida and she was trained by him.

Anyway, classes in Shichida are Great!!

I read up books on glenn doman too. In fact i’m sending my son for shichida this coming july. Hmm soo i’ll know the difference soon.


I am planning/ thinking to bring in original books from Shichida (japan). It is only available in japan. Will mothers be interested in shichida books written by shichida? if so, i can bring in for you. of cos my price will be cheaper then if u buy it yourself!

I think International chess helps to boost our child’s logical thinking and mathematics. You may try to look at some of chess courses that are offered by Intchess Asia. I have recently enrolled my child, and he can beat me in chess!

I do too agree international chess is one of the best games \"analytical\" for kids.
But chess, \"left brain\" skills because it involve \"logical\" and \"analytical\" skills.

I believe for babies and toddlers at a tender age, its more suitable to focus on \"right brain\" skills first.

According to Makoto Shichida, when a baby is born he or she use 100% of their right brain.
As they get older the left brain will develop gradually.

Anyway below are the difference of \"right brain\" and \"left brain\".


Left Brain

Conscious awareness
Logical thinking
Short term memory
Slow input
Detail analysis
Relies on physical senses
Likes repetitive input

Right Brain

Subconscious awareness
Abstract thought
Long term memory
Fast input
Gestalt (whole picture)
Relies on intuition
Soak up info like sponge

That is why I focus on right brain skills for my kids at an early age.

Only later, as they get older, I will focus on the left brain skills.

I don't expect my kids to be geniuses, but at least they will have a good education foundation.
Perhaps that will save me on future tuition fees. Heh heh!

Hello, can anyone advise me on whether to send my son to right brain tots in punggol or my little genius in kovan?


I understand that MLG was formerly little neuro tree which in turn was evolved from shichida while RBT's teachers were the pioneer batch in shichida. Has anyone attended lessons at these two schools? I don't wish to spend too much $$ on trial lessons. Kindly advise if you know these two schools, thanks!
