Sometimes I do wish I were working in china. Books are soooooo cheap.

yes.. book is cheap in China. i recalled i bought nearly $500 worth of children books at Shanghai and the shipping cost to Singapore was almost close to it..

In the average, each book cost cost than $0.50. it was a steal.

Absolute terms sound very scary, but when broken down, it's cheap no matter how you look at it.

I went window shopping at suntec bookfair and now have another list of books to buy from dangdang. 😓

Ya, down to 1 decimal place 😂

Judging by her current result, she will not be in top ten. I'm just focusing on her areas of weakness. :imcool:

Dun scare me.. She is just P1 .. the race hasn't start.

Errrr for some the rat race start at 6 months old in the WOMB hor. But I'm too lazy to do that for my 3 kids.

After much reflection during this school hols, I've found my way. So now I'm :imcool: and :imanangel:

But on a serious and not kiasu note, the foundation must be laid right from P1 so that it will not be so stressful when PSLE comes knocking.

Btw, a friend teacher told me about impressive folios the kids come up with, and the rehearsed response. To get in these days not easy. Cannot imagine few more years from now....

At $670, President scholar wannabe may sign up for the DSA interview Training Camp..

I marvel at the ability of the market to cater to parents' desire and fears.

After i wrapped up the DS1 DSA process, i can conduct a coffee talk for interested parents on DSA.

it was an experience for me. Despite i was prepared, i didn't know it was that 'stressful.
Will wait eagerly for your invitation to lim kopi

I understand it's additional free lessons for selected kids, a bit like tuition?
