I know this weather is due to global warming and some shift in monsoon...but can govt do something like 'seeding' to induce rain? It's so hot everyday, how not to use air con? Or else go to shopping centers to enjoy air con.

IMO, Weather is 1 of the best things that happened to Singapore.

we don't have scorching summer or freezing winter.. of coz, those came with more fun.. but often, with inconveniences too..

Yup ! Think of all the wardrobe space we have to create just to store the winter clothings ! :faint:

Anyway, we also have 4 seasons in singapore - hot, hotter, hottest and super hot seasons !

Weather and the lack of space. We are so small…want to retire to some countryside with cheaper level of living also cannot.

I also don’t like the repeated shops in shopping malls and those small shops in neighborhood.


Walk left and right, products sold almost same brands.

Some of the range of products not brought in to sell. So need to go neighboring countries to buy.

We have hot weather, wet season in Nov/Dec, and of course the shopping season from Jan to Dec, especially May-Aug ( GSS).

Dept stores during my time were more interesting…what you find in one will not be found in another. Now all retail stores are the same. I used to go shopping at isetan havelock with mum.

How everybody accepts that tuition is the way to go… when the education system has turned topsy turvy and parents believe they should get the most out of tutors than teachers.
