Hi all,


Was checking out the posts on this Sch for my son P1 registration this year.
Quite to find some positive info about the sch.

For parents who are interested, there will a open house on the 30 June 2012 from 9am-12pm.

Will definitely be making a trip there.

Oh ya, how did you find out abt the open house?
I'm asking so that i can \"register\" to be alerted or something in 2013 when i will so need to \"enrol\" my girl come 2014...

Hi dancing,
I think can just go down to the school directly. They did not ask me to register when I call them earlier. Just tell me the time of the open house.

I think every school has some issues. Just try to make sure that our kids don't mix with the wrong clique. I was from a very good school, but all along there are problem teens and g**g, I just make sure I don't mix with them.


My kids who are studying in QTPS now are doing fine and I like the way the principal and vice principal's direction.

My ds1 will be in P1 in 2014.
I heard good reviews of QTPS.
Went to their website & thru the Principal's monthly open letter to the parents & students - Nothing commercial - I can feel that passion!
I am impressed!

High chance i will go there with my dd.. I will enquire on transportation for my dd cos she will be from jurong ext before we move to dawson..

Ok my feedback on the open house is way overdue… sorry peeps…

Ahhhh… i think i love this school. The students who are on duty that day are impressive lot…
Any other parents were there, care to share more? And heard that there will be afterclass afterschool care there…

Now… how do i become a pv for this school?
Or how can i register for my dd for 2014??? Anyone help…

You need not be a PV as you observe the past year statistics, Queenstown has places even at phase 3.

I am also impressed by the students on duty during the open house. They seems to be well-mannered.

I have register for DD for P1 2013. Looking forward to orientation day!!

good for you....
I just called the transport co. Sadly, they do not fetch/ send children from J.W to the school. the max they go will be to Dover/ Ghim Moh..
They also have stopped the Clementi location...

sigh..
now... how.... anyone know of any transport co. that can do this bus service...?? sigh... so so demoralizing..

However, i saw RGPS big big school bus at my place fetching a little indian girl...
Maybe one atas school hor...

How come you wanna send your child to Queenstown when you are staying at JW. There are a lot of schools ard JW too.

Hey Stitch,

There are a lot of school in Jw… but my new home will be in Queenstown… but as usual, the BTO house will only be ready in 2015 - in which my girl will be in P2…

now i’m really contemplating if i should enrol my girl in Jurong when she in P1 and transfer to QTPS when she in P2…
Cos i was thinking (more based on my own experience), to move school (and house/environment) and have change of friends and teachers during that intial P1-P2 period… might be too much for her…

Anyway, any other parents out there who have done the transfer during that P1-P2 period whereby the child just enter Primary school… any detrimental effect??
