      Uncles also fighting?

Keep scolding vulgar language in hokkien.

really bad example especially if there are passengers who are young inside the bus.

Pin hole camera? How does that work?

        Guess ksi means concealed cameras..

real \"pin-hole\" camera are practically impossible to use.. for moving subjects.

Yes you are right, limlim.... like those concealed in clocks, watches etc...
Aiyo...I hope people respect privacy and not indulge in such gadgets.

I’ve seen pen-cameras being sold on some shopping website. But really shocking. Question: Should the driver take the initiative to call the police or must he seek the assaulter/assaulted’s opinion?

That will never happen, with portals like STOMP around encouraging such undesirable activity.
You are so right! To first address the privacy issue, STOMP has to be evaluated first on privacy rights as it promotes the behaviour. Having said that, without STOMP, people can still post on other media, this kind of culture has to be curbed.

hmm.. I am not sure if I would consider the videoing or picture snapping of \"undesirable activity\", an \"undesirable activity\"........

Spy cameras are useful if they are used correctly. Spying maid got abuse kids at home, or even catch the married couples who messing outside.

The point is how is the gadget used. If user used it for peeping tom then is illegal and could be charged or sue?

                🤷 Just my opinion.

:yikes: Gosh this is really too violent over a small matter like this if what is reported is true and especially she is only a tourist. One would have thought she was there to break the news of pregnancy to him and he was responsible for it to his utter horror!!! Good grief, I am terribly shocked. I hope the resentment towards foreigner is not the cause of such unthinkable violence. Is this real? Is the man arrested? I am dead curious.

The victim, a Chinese tourist who gave her name as Miss Xiao Xia, 20, told Lianhe Wanbao that it was all because she had accidentally splattered some soup on the man, who was among three strangers sharing the table with her group of friends.

I think the man and this pregnant lady know each other. If you notice the CCTV seem to show the place rather empty. Usually we seldom share tables with strangers unless the place is crowded ? 🤷 I could be wrong ... :?

I find it is so wrong to use fists to solve any problem. Can't we just talk / discuss things calmly ? this is so

Our garmen is underestimating the societal impact on their policy. These days, it is common to hear sweeping remarks such as those made by the aunty on the MRT about people from China. The anti-foreigner sentiments is surfacing into real-life drama. I’ve recently heard from a neighbor that people pick on the littlest of things like drying mattresses out in the sun at void decks to be the deed of PRCs - hadn’t Singaporeans been doing that too?

At a personal level, though I very much empathize with those who feel resentment towards Chinese nationals due to one reason or another, I feel that we ought to be careful what we do and say, for such resentments may in time invite retaliation, and cause us to be in less favorable position when we step out of our own borders. The worse irony is that we could be turning against our own people without realizing it.
