Hi all, I m new in the forum and not be up to date on P1 registration etc...

I m an old girl from Pei Hwa Pre. but just wondering if I m considered a 'alumni' ?
I have a 2.5 yr old girl but heard PV has to start next year...
So early but think i have to find out... 😞
As an ex-student of Pei Hwa, you get to register your daughter under Phase 2A. No need to do PV.

Er as long as the current P2A priority remains status quo. That in itself is a moot point.

Since your child is only 2.5 years old, there is still plenty of time for you to check out other schools. Keep an open mind.

Ya... but if PV is for 2009 kids are supposed to commence next yr... It becomes risky to shop around? It seems that the arrangement is askin us to decide earlier? πŸ˜„

If you are an ex student, your child gets to register under Phase 2A.
There are parents against this thing about alumni now...but just pray hard this alumni thing is still in your favor. So, no need to do any PV.

                    Not shop around lah.

KSP forum has created threads of so many schools. Many members hv contributed the good and bad points of the school their child are in/was in.

Reading up these threads will give you a better idea what is suitable for your child.

By my criteria, my top choice for pri school if I have a gal-gal will be MGS. Got spiritual guidance, got affliation to an excellent sec sch, got fantastic PSLE track record - beating some GEP schs even. What more can a parent wish for?

2nd and 3rd choice will be either SCGS/NYPS.

I do not need top school. All I want is the affiliation to sec school.

I'm glad my younger one is in all girls school and now really hope the cut off point will not increase when she goes to P6. PSLE is no joke πŸ˜“ :nailbite:
