Thank you for the advises. I think it is better to change another one, there is nothing to lose…hope I have a good luck to get a better one…
Base on my experience of hiring the maid, singapore working experience is really the most important factor…I have a one who got 6 years singapore working experience and have samll children when I hired her before, really really very good, she stay with me for 4 yrs, and brought up my two children, unfortunately she need go back as she miss her children… So I quit my job and hire the cuurent one who have other countries experience to take care children, but the way they handle them and the way doing things is really different from Singapore… Long story Liao…Anyway, singapore working experience is more important . -

Need some advice…if you realised that your maid has taken money from the money you left with her for emergency at home…will you still let her transfer or send her home? I’m at a loss as i don’t want another employer to have to deal with her, but she has 3 kids back in PHilippines and i feel bad about it…sigh!

If this is the first instance, I would advise that you confront her, if she shows genuine repentance and remorse, try to forgive her. But must let her know that you knew what she had done and warn her not to do again. -

Send her home. It's not fair to the new employers to be saddled with a sticky-finger maid. Let her know that she's lucky you didn't make a police report which would effectively restrict her from being employed in Singapore in the future. -
i’ve already confronted her and she told me she is not "stealing", when she get her salary she will put it back…I told her "taking without asking is stealing". Then i asked her what she did with the $30, she gave all sorts of excuses like buy ezlink card and sanitary pad. I asked her to show me the pads, she went to her room and tried to dig around then told me she finished using…when earlier she told me she only took the money yesterday as she needed the money.
Sigh! why are they so like that? -

Did you confront her why she took the money? Maybe you can tell her if she need money she should ask first? If it is not a lot of cash suggest you transfer her out.
