Using Relative's Address & Statutory Declaration
-
I find parents of such mentality are very poisonous for the society.
Such acts of dishonesty will only lead your own child to be social outcast who only lie to get what they wanted.
Next time when they grow up if they want to get something they might as well cheat and rob to get it.
Anyway you are too late to rent.
MOE this year for some reason is very strict and will look out for such dishonesty cases and will void your child eligibility even if he/she is selected.
Some of my friends who rented house even 2 years ago also gave up the idea of using this dishonest method in worry that MOE will find out. -
I am going to register my boy in School A (hubby from the school) in P2A on 6th July, and will be doing a satutory declaration maybe on 4th July, as I hope to enter School B in P2B on 20th July (nearer to my parents place as my parents picks him n look after him), will give up place in school A if school B do not need to ballot. possible?? school A using our own add and school B using my parents.
-
all things considered, it is better to stay within 1 km of the school, rather than using others’ addresses

Do remember that you would have to withdraw from school A before you can register with school B.
Once withdraw, the place is gone. -

I have 2 questions… What if my whole family change the address to my parent’s address instead? 1) is this possible? 2) will this classify me as within 1 km from my desired school then? Coz caregiver at best can only be with 2 km

you will be penalised by one category, i.e. 1km of your parents' address is treated as between 1 to 2 km of your address, per MOE policy on this use of parents' address -

You may change the address in the NRIC, provided you genuinely stays with your parents. The purpose of your change should not be just so you can qualify within 1 km of the school during P1 registration.
If your own flat is a HDB flat, you will have explanation to do why you are not staying in your own flat.
