hawkers might do the same soon if we ask for extra chilli .. :yikes:

Some do charge for extra chilli, and had been doing so for some time.

Sauce makes fast food even more unhealthy.

        Anyway, read on CNA that

6 piece gets up to 2 pack free, 3rd chargeable
        9 piece gets 3 packs
20 piece gets 4 packs ...... Er ... This doesn't seem logical. Shouldn't it be 6 or even 7 packs?
You can buy 2 of the 9 pieces nuggets set to get 6 packs of sauce, but you pay more for this combination. If you want to pay less by buying a 20 piece set, then you get fewer packs of sauce :rotflmao:

Extra sauce also need to pay?

Seems like some companies are asking customers to pay additional cost for, and the explanation \"reduce wastage\", \"save earth\" etc...

          :siam:
The explanation is valid ONLY if they reduce the price of the food, say, $4 to $3.85, and charge for the sauce at $0.20

Else, whatever they say is just BS.

But, to be fair, if there is few packets free, and only charge for the nth packets onwards.. I feel it is quite ok lah..

          As they say.. reduce wastage..

The nuggets and the sauce are unhealthy anyway. The sauce charge just provides another good reason not to eat them.

I think it is fair lah. They are giving some sauce with the nuggets you pay only when you want more. And 2 packs for 6 piece nugget is more then enough.

Hm...not if they only give one pack for a 9 pcs or 20pc nugget set. I've noticed that you'd often need to remind them about giving the sauce. And if they were to offer, it will usually be other sauces.

As for other fast food chains, you'd often get a bunch of ketchup and chillli sauce, many more packets than you actually need.

US, Aust. If you want any ketchup or condiments, gotta pay something like 20cents per pack. Not just in Macs, KFC, Burger King oso.

Agree. I paid 30 cents for a pack of ketchup at Frankfurt Macs.. I squeezed it to the last drop.

The next visit there, I brought my own from Singapore Macs. 🙂

I think its fair that we pay for the extra sauce. I've seen wastage before.

Yes, one famous fried prawn noodle in the west charges additional for extra chilli.

I don't like to eat Macs fries overseas because they don't serve it with chilli sauce. Typical Singaporean here must eat fries with chilli sauce. 😄
