But I'm just saying.. the lesser the income, the more likelihood of being unhappy with the current Singapore.

Can we have a show of hand here how many is < $2k/mth household income and contented?
Can we have a show of hand here how many is < $5k/mth household income and contented?
Do give some encouragement here that you do not dislike the current Singapore..
This is not to prove anything.. just to add more positive mood.... anyone?

[/quote]One can't just based his/her \"contentment level\" on household income. Whether my household income is $2k or $5k or even $20k per month, I am still thankful that

          - we don't have people dying because of extremely hot weather.
          - sg is generally safe enough for me to come home late at night
          - education is available for all sg children
          - we have reliable medical facilities readily available to the public
          - sg is a politically stable country (even if one does not support miw, try thinking about the political unrest in middle east?)
          - sg is not a war zone (think places like Iraq, Somalia and Afghanistan)

I am not saint or hypocrite, I have my own set of problems too. Each one of us may have a catch 22 situation at one time or all the time. If one has 10 buckets and 9 covers, one can see it as \" I don't have that one\". But I will choose to see that \" out of the 10, I already have 9\".

Agree to some of the points like no war, no riots, no weather problems to cause death. Also I like that there are libraries to borrow free books to read.

Medical facilities, if no money also not available.

I must say I got both dislikes and likes. Not 100% dislikes only. 😄

Income high or not, don't think got any effect. Got other conditions all add up like stress etc?

              ?

I have heard, in some places, even if one got $$$$, maybe also no doctor want to see him/her.

Singapore deserves a better government, a government who will truly place its born and bred here citizens at the top of things, instead of wayang all the time, pretending it is realli fighting for its ppl. Hopefully it will come in GE 2016.
