I used the onemap provided by MOE and realise that the distance from my home to the school is 2.04km.... In this instance, will it be classify as within 2km since its a mere 0.04km?

Er...sorry. How did you get such accurate figure 2.04km from OneMap??
What function did you use??

I key in distance from and to… It will gives you the distance. It’s at the upper right corner

You should use the School Query function. We do not know which point is used for the school as the school compound is big.

The safest way is to use the School Query function.

Just as I thought.

Your way gives you the travelling distance from your home to the school.
The home-school distance used for registration is the straight line distance between your home and the school.

Use the School Query function as qms suggested.

Does this school distance still played important factor in primary 1 registration ?


MOE website did not state this factor in for this primary 1 registration :?

Bad new for me : I just moved to SK area near to primary school.

So I did not did any PV since I just moved into SK area.

I need to know whether this distance (within 1km) still plays important factor . If yes, which phase will it be?

Accordingly to new MOE , I only in phase 2C
