can parents share how you conduct the PSLE revision for your child at home? Do you expect them to finish how many sets of paper per wk or day? did you set any timetable for them? I m lost now.

My DS brings back a lot of homework since term starts. No time to add in my revision time with him. At most can only do some Chinese oral practicing before he sleeps. I play the Chinese oral CD in our car whenever he is in there to save time on weekend, I am trying to get him to finish up all his homework and leave Sunday free for me to do revisions with him.

Where do you get the oral cd and how much. Is it good?

It is actually to play on PC but I convert the audio format (about the picture description and conclusion) to play in my car audio system. I think most oral practice books will come with CD. Can't tell whether is good but the purpose is for my DS to listen to it over and over again and I believe eventually he will pick up something from there

Term 3 schedule is out.

The prelim will be held after the PSLE oral. Only dates I can remember are PSLE ones…my brain memory is full. Need to upgrade to a bigger capacity if possible. Pasted the big calendar on son’s door…from july to sep.

When I look at the prelim dates I got pissed off. School schedule Hari Raya Celebration while the P6 takes their Prelim Math paper. Can’t they schedule the exam before Hari Raya or have the celebration the following week. Don’t know how they plan the schedules.

My child is not taking PSLE this year but looking at the school calendar and their Prelim papers are scheduled after the Hari Raya Puasa

Wed, 22/8/2012 -- Prelim EL (Papers 1 & 2)
Thurs, 23/8/2012 - Prelim Math
Fri, 24/8/2012 -- Prelim Mother Tongue
Mon, 27/8/2012 - Prelim Science
Tue, 28/8/2012 -- HMT

And when the P6 finish all the above, they will join their fellow schoolmates for the Teachers' Day celebration on Friday, 31/8/2012! :love:

Dunno what’s the rationale. DS is having 2 prelims!!!

First 16-20Jul, next 20+ Aug. grrrrhhhhh

:? :? Why need 2 prelim exams? Then the P6s need to study twice; stress double or triple?

Woah… Seems like my DD’s school conducts their P6 Prelim the earliest. Last paper ends on the second week of August! Understand from FT that after that is full concentration on brushing up Oral and intensive revision all the way to PSLE.

My DD 's school start Prelim Oral Exam on 16-07-2012 and end Written paper on 27-07-2012
