If he was really threatened by lawsuits before, I don't think he wants to go through the same thing again. I knew well that last time Kong Hee's explanation to the service was in line with what MSM has reported about this i.e. Roland Poon has seen the light and understood he was just misinformed. But I didn't feel right about that. If he was forgiven, why did he has to print full public apologies costing 5 digit figures when an open letter to the MSM explaining that he was just misinformed would have been sufficient to close the case.kwcllf:
At the outbreak when the 5 were rounded up for questioning, it was reported that Roland Poon was so shakened by the incident when there was an effort to contact him to have his take on the latest development..............hmmmmmmm!
Why did I leave the church in the end? I read Roland Poon's apology letter and one of his supposedly false allegations...I was involved in one of them. I simply could not stay in that church anymore because of my conscience. To this day I felt terrible for Roland Poon and sometimes I think if I should have done the right thing by speaking out the truth.
Now regarding this saga, alot of us 心里有数 -

If Project crossover was to groom a star singer to reach the entertainment industry, then shouldn’t they pick a younger person instead of Sun Ho who was already in her 30s? I am sure there are many potential young talents among their 33000 strong membership or the wider christian community.
It is also not true that there weren’t any pop stars singer in the entertainment industry then. I think famous Taiwanese composer cum singer, David Tao, is a christian. -

Why don't CHC members question KH & Sun Ho's lavish lifestyle here and in US, Why sold his business back to CHC (why not others? why must CHC?)? and how much assets he and his wife have currently? Why didn't he lead by example by donating all his business and assets to CHC instead of quoting others' example of downgrading 5 HDB to 3 HDB in order to donate the money to CHC? Did he contribute the monthly tithes and weekly offerings? Who funds the expenses of Sun Ho in US?
Not to mention the companies they engaged are helmed by their own people. How did they award all the contracts? Any tenders? Any best effort taken to ensure the most competitive bids??? -
