but the sch compound looks really nice.
the school plus chiam see tong are the reasons why i move here 5 yrs ago..

sadly now the school is like this, and uncle chiam is gone.. so was thinking of moving out of this estate.. we thought of starting the boys in pri, den sec and JC here and its gonna save us lots on transport..

Don’t fret…could it be only a handful of bad students there? There bound to have bad students in any schools.

          Jedamum,

My gal’s teacher ever told me saying that we shld always encourage our kids and do not say negative things to them. If u say "u are stupid", they will take it that they are indeed stupid and do not wish to learn things anymore. That could be the positive teaching u mentioned about. I have yet to try the method to my gal though.

But drop by the SAJS networking thread, there are still good stuff discussed about the school. But still best go by own gut feel.

Actually that was what my in laws told me long ago. I only seems to use positive teaching selectively for ds1 but more generous with my k2. I should try to be more consistent.

the boys are behaving badly around the estate.. when i go for the dessert shop, they are shouting and talking loudly as though the place belongs to them.. end up most of the customers there decide to packet instead of eating there.. made the auntie so pissed off but cannot chase them away..

oic...one of the disadvantages of staying near to schools.
i once encountered kids playing hide/seek or catching at blocks of flats running up and down the staircases. 😓
