Assabella, hmm…as you are still growing, remember to change your swimsuit after a while. Let your mummy know about this. When the swim suit don’t fit anymore, don’t try to save and keep on wearing ill fitting suit. It may cause more problem in terms of attracting the wrong attention. So change as and when its necessary.

            Hi all parents,

Thank you for your replies. I may try going to World of Sports as they have an outlet at my aunt's workplace, I12 Katong. My mother works in China and I do not come from a well-off family, thus the price-limit. My living expenses come from my 2 aunts, therefore I do not think they will be willing to splurge $50 and above on a swimsuit. Currently, they are asking me to wait for hand-me-downs from other relatives. Thank you for all replies. I really appreciate it. 😄

              Hi assabelle,

If you can’t find one reasonable one at katong mall there, den giant as one suggest here do sell the cheap ones. Alternatively you can just buy the top and wear your pe shorts which is allow at the pool…cheaper this way since your r one tight budget. Hope this helps

Agreed with you. Some kids need stricter coach to see results and progress. If you want to find out more on good swimming stroke techniques, see the videos at http://www.howtoswim.biz/

my dd learned from the same coach for at least 6 - 9 mths at the age of 8 but the coach did not even try to arrange the test for her at all…maybe try to buy time as each mth cost $60.

Then we stop as my dd school has arranged for all P3 for the swimming lessons at the v nominal cost of $15 (payable by edusave) for total of 8 weekly lesson and they due for the test at the end of the 8th lesson.

Hi how will the test be conducted? I wouldn't be too concerned about test or no test as long as the kids can swim and enjoy the sports. Enjoying it is very important. After all, they have enough tests in school already so...
