Champion:
Can't wait for PSLE to be over...that would be a big relief.
Wishing all the best for your DS PSLE 2012! :rahrah: :rahrah:janet_lee88:
Hi champion,
I have these 2 books you uploaded.
As usual, can't resist. I bought the SAP PSLE science after third time going to popular. For the past year booklet, hubby bought it. Then this year, the school ordered for P6s. -
From time to time there are many new and good recommendation for Science Guide Books from parents. I feel to make other parents benefit, we should have someone to consolidate (put the pic as well) and keep appending in the 1st post on page 1.
I feel that Champion is doing a very good job in putting the assessment book cover pics here. I hope the mod can insert a new 1st post on page 1. Thanks. -

I think is easily doable. Just need get the green light from both Champion and Mods. -
WCW:
if the science assessment thread has someone to do this, guess each individual assessment book thread will have to have one too?
we need volunteers who are actively in these few threads to manage, anyone? Champ??
once we identified the person we can propose to the mods to insert a new 1st post on page 1 under the person's name -

Champion has been uploading pic of assessment books all this while. It has really been so much easier checking out titles mentioned by other mummies. To walk into Popular with just a title is a headache. -
mummy of three:
You can ask the staffs at popular or your tutor to recommend the books.
Actually it is hard to depend on Popular staff to recommend...although they face assessment all the time, they do not really know if certain titles are helpful or not. Maybe they can advise guide books bcos when certain titles are printed on school book list, parents will get from popular.
For eg PSLE science guide (orange cover) or ultimate science.
These 2 titles are often recommended by popular staff. But I seldom touched guide books this year. -
There’s this Popular staff at Lot 1 Popular who is quite good at advising on which assessment/guide books to buy. Too bad I didn’t get her name.

:siam:[/quote]Yes, I agree. May be what we can do is (everybody) just give an update of which books/guides they find really useful.

I know there are many pages for each subject…so it’s pointless to upload pics unless the titles are new. Some of the guide books are the same old ones mentioned…with exams getting tougher, it’s really useless to buy reference. Check up yahoo, google or Wikipedia.
