An original Sales and Purchase document is required if the address of a yet-to-be completed private property is used for registration. The date of commitment by the developer in the Temporary Occupation Permit (T.O.P.) has to be within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One. In the case of a yet-to-be completed HDB flat, the Agreement for Lease is required. No wonder the schools are not picking up calls today.
May I ask for advice pls. Do schools except option to purchase of a completed property as address to register? Reason is we are renting now within 1km and have finally bought a permanent place to move in by dec. we want to use new address but can't change NRIC yet because transaction is not completed.
Parents must move into the new property within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One.
Details can be found here: http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/required-documents/#proof-of-purchase -
Can anyone explain me the difference between phase 2c and 2c supplementary. If we fail in 2c in a school, then can apply in a different school in 2c supplementary phase?. Schools with places left after 2c phase will allocate it during the 2c supplementary phase? follow same method of allocation (based on sg/pr/distance?) thanks in advance.

Thank you. Ours is an old development so we do not have sales & purchase agreement. Only option to purchase.

I thought we cna only use TOP and not OTP. OTP is not official document that sale will go through. It just bars the seller from showing the property to others within the time frame. Sales is has not gone through unless it has been exercised right? I could be wrong…

If you fail in 2C of a certain school, that means places for that school are totally filled. So for 2CS, you will HAVE to apply at another school which has leftover places after 2C has ended.
2CS allocation of places is exactly the same as any other phases. -

OTP does not constitute transferred of title deed yet, thus could not prove that you will purchase and eventually move to the property. No wonder the schools are not picking up calls today.

Since you are already staying within 1km, therefore should not have issue registering your child. -
