Sorry for my ignorance - I didn't know preaching could get so dramatic. I couldn't believe what I was hearing :scared: Need to be like that one meh har? I mean, this is xxx times worse than Desmond Choo...The following podcast from the same website shows how KH himself views the 6 months of investigations in 2010.

Listen from 16.00 to 23.00.
I would have thought I am listening to a Shakespearean soliloquy. Tell me, I must be a skeptic here - otherwise, how could the audience not have been  ?

but the message from the 'divine' via a \"channel\" they have trusted all
these years together. :hi5:
It like your child is such a goody boy at home for years and a friend or teacher tell you he bully others - you will not believe it?

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: no, no, no, AC, he doesn't. Sorry for causing confusion. Those who had been in the recent BE thread would know what I am talking about.

In case you hadn't been following, I made some remarks about DC's speech towards the end which sounded a bit too dramatic. -
I am sure everyone in Singapore and around the world watched the talking point about CHC allegations yesterday on Channel News Asia at 8 pm.
CHC members responded on air in the national tv that they have faith in the leaders and on CHC side.
I just dislike the crossover project and their lifestyle. They did not exhibit a true disciple for christ in these area. God said we should not judge or condemn the person but the sin of the person committed. It is rather foolish for them to commit that is against the law and especially God. However, if CHC and its members think that it is not than I am very puzzle. -
concern2:
Because they looked up to Kong Hee? It's human nature to to elevate someone who you perceive to be more successful and 'godly' than yourself, and by extension all their words sound like the truth.

Anyway, your reply raised an important issue here. I am quite disappointed that many churches in singapore (from what I have gathered) do not engage their members regarding this CHC issue. Personally I think this is a golden time to clear up any misconceptions or erroneous teachings with their members and non-believers, and to show people the more positive sides of Christianity. Some churches even ask their members not to blog or put their thoughts about this case. I have a feeling many churchers and their pastors do not want to be perceived as judgmental so they just pretend it never happened.
Really unfortunate that the first Christians sermons that non believers watch as a result of this case are those prosperity teaching or 'dramatic' ones. I hope more churches or leaders do not 'sit on the fence' for too long. -

I am looking forward to 25 July for the hearing. I long to hear what KH has to say on his side of the stories on this matter as he mentioned during his recent sermon. I hope it will not turn urgly if 33,000 members turned up to give their support and jam the Court in Havelock road.

Hope many will Speak up like Mosses!!!
